Even after the daughter of Rodney Howard-Browne died of Cystic Fibrosis,
many Pentecostal and Charismatic followers still believe that the laughing
"Evangelist" possesses supernatural healing powers. I cannot help but to
notice that his daughter Kelly suffered with the disease since infancy until
the day she died at 18 years of age and during all this time the so called
worker of Miracles could not heal his own Offspring. Any normal person will
question Rodney Howard-Browne ability to heal Sons and Daughters of the
multitude since his own Progeniture died of a prolong sickness. Yet in the
minds influenced by charismatic doctrines and controlled by strange spirits
of Pentecostalism, Pastor Rodney has the Power to heal the sick and work
wonders. In spite of the wildest claims and emotional testimonials of
entranced followers, the chaotic Manifestations of laughing spirits in
Rodney Howard-Browne services and his strange teachings have raised many
concerns in the Christian Community where his Ministry is not considered to
be of God. Furthermore Rodney Howard-Browne himself has publicly stated:

"I'd rather be in a church where the devil and the flesh are manifesting
than in a church where nothing is happening because people are too afraid to
manifest anything... and if the devil manifests, don't worry about that,
either. Rejoice, because at least something is happening."

There is even a report on a web site that Rodney Howard-Browne speaking in
tongues on recorded videos of "Toronto Blessing Unmasked" praised spiritual
entities considered demonic by the Christian Tradition. This would not
surprise me at all, I have personally studied for years the Charismatic
Movement and Pentecostalism, and I am absolutely convinced that these
Ministers are deliberately worshiping demonic spirits. So when Rodney
Howard-Browne's daughter died, he directed his evocations to the same
spirits who made him famous and rich. He requested that the corpse of his
Daughter be brought to his couch in his office where he performed a lengthy
supernatural incantation and ceremonial. It is not made public exactly how
many days the dead body of Kelly remained in the "Evangelist" office before
the Funeral Parlor was finally authorized to remove the corpse. It is also
not known if "Pastor" Rodney had called upon his anointed colleagues and
good friends Reihnard Bonnke and Benny Hinn who both claimed that dead men
were raised during their services in Nigeria and Ghana?

of the failed resurrection incident can go to:

The spirits who brought fame, fortune and laughter to Rodney Howard-Browne
could not revive his Daughter! The anointing of deception may presently be
the pride and joy of many but it will surely cause a lot of wailing and
gnashing of teeth in front the judgment throne of the Almighty!

Hi David,

As someone who's been a Pentecostal for a number of years I feel the need to
speak up against this post and some of your statements. First though, I
should say that I DO NO believe or support Rodney Howard-Browne or his
claims of divine powers to heal the sick so don't think I'm rushing to his
defense.

I think you seem to have what Pentecostals believe as a whole with what a
small cultic segment believe about divine healing. If you talk to ordinary
mainstream Pentecostals you will find that most do NOT believe that anyone
has the power to heal the sick of their own volition. Most Pentecostals see
those who profess to have this power as self-rightious frauds who are in it
for their own glory (a la Benny Hinn and his ilk). Instead, we believe that
God uses people as conduits through his divine healing comes TO WHOM HE WILL
HEAL. The person who is being used does not choose who God will heal and who
he will not. As importantly, there is no "special training" like needing to
be a pastor in order to be chosen by God as an instrument. Ordinary people
have been used by our Lord to perform extraordinary feats! So, do I believe
Rodney Howard-Browne has the power of God working through him to divine
healing? I don't know. I don't know enough about the man to make an opinion
either way. But I will say that it is possible.

You mentioned how incredible it was that Pentecostals still continue to
believe in his "power" even though his own child died and was not healed.
Does that seem strange to you? It might to many people. But reread what I
said in the second paragraph of this post. Especially the words "TO WHOM HE
WILL HEAL". Just because God uses someone as an instrument doesn't mean he's
going to give them everything they want even in the excercise of that gift.
Just because on has the gift of divine healing doesn't mean they can
superceed the Lord's will. If it it God's will that someone be taken home
then they will be. Regardless of who their parent is or how much prayer is
prayed. This doesn't reflect on Browne's gift in any way. It simply means
that he prayed and God's will was done. So before you judge an entire
movement by one incident I would suggest that you do deeper study, more
ferverent praying, and more seeking God. Because sometimes, we can be blind
to the work of God even when it's right in our face. I know it's happened to
me!

Lastly, I want to reiterate that I don't have an opinion of Browne or his
"gift". I don't know enough about the man to have one. But I am skeptical of
the entire Toronto thing to be honest. Browne might be a complete fraud. But
I'm just not ready to label him that yet.

Thank you Anthony for your reply. Apparently it seems you are reading my
articles for the first time. I have been researching Pentecostalism for
about seven years. I have posted several hundred articles throughout the
years about demonic manifestations happening in Pentecostal Churches I have
also posted links to several chocking video and audio files of scandalous
Pentecostal services. I have created a web sites with testimonials of many
eyes witnesses who have reported evil and strange experiences in Penteostal
Churches. I have studied the Azusa Street Church Revival which by the way
was 100 % demonic, the whole Pentecostal movement started after this Revival
and is also a worship of spirits of Devils
